Tasting Note

Bright gold in colour with delicate pink highlights, this sparkling wine opens with an inviting bouquet of quintessential Kentish fruit, showcasing aromas of crisp apples, fresh strawberries and ripe pears. The palate is generous and expressive, combining red apple with layers of ripe red and black fruit, all wrapped in a rich, unctuous texture. A creamy mousse and smooth finish lend elegance and depth, making it a wonderfully versatile wine that shines as an aperitif or alongside canapés and afternoon tea.

Product Notes

Balfour Leslie's Gold wine, crafted by Hush Heath Estate in Kent, is a stunning showcase of British winemaking prowess. This luxury wine boasts an effervescent blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. True to its name, Leslie's Gold exudes radiant golden hues, with delicate notes of red apple, pear, and summer berries on the nose. The palate is lively and creamy, highlighted by subtle undertones of crisp acidity, toasted brioche, and a lengthy mineral finish. Exceptional with seafood or as an aperitif, Balfour Leslie's Gold brings a touch of unabashed opulence to any occasion.
