Taste Profile
Tasting Note
Oublié is Booker’s tried-and-true GSM, landing this time with a tiny contribution of Tannat. The 2021 vintage is loaded with aromas of boysenberry, cherry, caramel and toasty oak. The palate is coated with luscious berry flavours and soft, rich textures, concluding with firm structure on the finish. Oublié is one of our lightest blends by design, aiming to mimic a Châteauneuf-du-Pape and pair well with all types of food.
Product Notes
Booker Oublié wine is a harmonious blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah, emanating from the famous Booker Vineyard of Paso Robles, California. Renowned for its opulent flavours, it tantalises the palate with bold notes of black cherries, blackberries, warm spices, and smoky minerality. Matured in French oak barrels, the wine is full-bodied, striking a perfect balance between sharp acidity and refined tannins. Oublié boasts a sumptuous, velvety texture and an impressively lengthy finish. Translating to ‘Forgotten’ in French, Oublié is, ironically, a memorable experience for any discerning wine enthusiast. It is absolutely a sophisticated alchemy of sensorial delight.
