Tasting Note

Pale gold with bright highlights. The nose is refined and mineral-driven, showing ripe pear, white peach and citrus alongside delicate floral notes, subtle toast and a hint of reduction. The palate is broad and concentrated yet beautifully fresh, combining ripe orchard fruit with lemon and citrus peel, fine saline minerality and gentle spice. There is impressive tension beneath the richness, leading to a long, precise and mouth-watering finish.

Product Notes

Domaine Thibert Pouilly-Fuissé Héritage is a charming French white wine showcasing the elegance of the Mâconnais region. Crafted from Chardonnay grapes, it exhibits a harmonious blend of rich, fruity flavours and subtly toasted notes, characterised by pear, apple, and creamy butter nuances. On the palate, its remarkable freshness, balanced acidity, and concentrated fruity depth are impressively highlighted, leading to a persistent finish. Matured in oak barrels, this Pouilly-Fuissé reveals a sophisticated complexity that sets it apart. A superb choice for those seeking a wine to accompany seafood or creamy poultry dishes. This is truly a testament to the Thibert family's winemaking heritage.

About the Winery

Domaine Thibert

Domaine Thibert is a family-owned estate based in Fuissé, at the heart of the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy. The Thibert family has deep roots in the region, with records of the family in Fuissé dating back several centuries. The modern domaine was established in 1967 by Andrée and René Thibert with only a small area of vines. Over the following decades they steadily expanded the property, building a reputation for precise, terroir-focused expressions of Chardonnay.
