Tasting Note

Ciabot Mentin is a luminous garnet red in colour. There are typical Barolo characters of ripe red fruit, rose and spice on the nose. The palate is intense and well-balanced, and the finish long.

Product Notes

Domenico Clerico's Barolo Ciabot Mentin wine captures the heart of the Piedmont region in a bottle. With a rich garnet hue, this robust red tantalises the palate with enticing notes of dark cherry, liquorice, and spice, trailing a sophisticated hint of toasted oak. Grown in the hilly Langhe area, the Nebbiolo grapes are harvested in late October, resulting in a deeply layered and structured wine. Renowned for its impressive longevity, a bottle can remarkably mature and develop throughout the years. A glass of Ciabot Mentin is indeed a gratifying experience for any discerning wine aficionado.
