Product Notes

Fattoria dei Barbi Morellino di Scansano DOCG wine is an exceptional Tuscan wine from a renowned Italian vineyard. The wine, composed of 85% Sangiovese grapes, carries the distinct fruitiness and savoury character of this varietal. It’s artfully balanced with 15% other varieties, offering depth and structural complexity. With an inviting ruby hue, the wine unfolds layers of berry flavours, dark cherries, underpinned by earthy notes and a hint of spice. Aged in seasoned French oak barrels, it imparts a subtle tannic backbone, suave sophistication and a persistent finish. This wine is an embodiment of the Mediterranean spirit, perfect for celebrating special occasions.

Tasting Notes

Majority Sangiovese wine from southern Tuscany, rounded and generous, with a rush of red berries - raspberries, redcurrants, red cherries and a perfume of plums.
