Product Notes

Artadi Valdeginés wine, a Spanish delight, hails from the celebrated Artadi vineyard in the Rioja Alavesa region. This illustrious red is a single varietal Tempranillo that bursts with character. It embodies a delightful balance of ripe, dark fruits and underlying spice alongside firm but approachable tannins. Its flamboyant bouquet reveals hints of blackcurrant and blackberry, backed by subtle whispers of vanilla. Made using traditional winemaking methods, it is aged in French oak for a smooth, full-bodied finish. The Artadi Valdeginés wine is a harmonious blend of complexity and sophistication, a rather delectable choice for appreciators of refined, robust wines.

About the Winery

Artadi

Located in the medieval hilltop town of Laguardia in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, Artadi is widely regarded as one of Spain’s most influential and prestigious wine estates. Founded in 1985 as a cooperative of local grape growers, the project was led from the outset by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, whose vision helped transform the estate into a benchmark producer of terroir-driven wines. In 1992, the Lacalle y Laorden family assumed full control of the winery and continue to own and manage it today, with the fifth generation of the family now actively involved in the business.
