Tasting Note

High intensity aromas of dried fruit, coffee, caramel chocolate and nuts. Sweet, complex mouth with searing acidity balancing sugar; very long finish.

Product Notes

Delve into the world of Grecian wines with Artemis Karamolegos Vinsanto. This opulent wine, a blend composed predominantly of Assyrtiko, Aidani, and Athiri grapes, is a distinguished representative of the volcanic island of Santorini. Skilfully sun-dried, the grapes give the wine a luscious sweetness, cleverly balanced by engaging acidity. On the palate, it reveals a complexity of flavours, from honey and dried fruits to hints of exotic spices. Its sunlit, amber hue expertly transposed in the glass, mirrors the Aegean sunsets. A long and lingering finish ends this sensory journey. Artemis Karamolegos Vinsanto wine, a delightful discovery for wine aficionados.

About the Winery

Artemis Karamolegos

Artemis Karamolegos Winery is a continuation of the Artemis’s family tradition that started almost a century ago with the cultivation of local produce, Assyrtiko in particular, in Santorini. The first canava* was created by his grandfather in 1952 with the purpose of producing wine for home consumption. It was, however, Artemis’ innate love for the Santorini land and quest for preserving Santorini’s heritage, that realized in 2003 with the creation of his first wine at the premises of his new winery in Exo Gonia.
