Tasting Note

Pale straw in colour, `Altare` Blanc has a honeyed, waxy, nutty nose with notes of lemon, orange peel and tangerine. The palate is complex and refined, with precise acidity, subtle oak spice and vanilla notes. The long mineral finish and structured texture make for an excellent age worthy gastronomic wine.

Product Notes

Clos Venturi Altare Blanc is an exquisite wine hailing from Corsica, France. Refined with a rich, unctuous palate, it unfurls layers of white peach, honey and subtle smoke, building to a dry, mineral-laced finish. This stellar white blend is balanced by an invigorating freshness, deriving its elegance from the complex blend of Vermentino, Bianco Gentile and Genovese. Maturation in French oak barrels adds depth and a soft, creamy vanilla undertone. Its intense and expressive character makes it a splendid accompaniment to seafood or white meat dishes. Clos Venturi Altare Blanc truly is the epitome of Corsican viticulture.
