Tasting Note

Impressive, elegant Grand Cru Chablis, wafting white pepper and nutmeg into the nose and flint and lemon onto the tongue.

Product Notes

Domaine Louis Michel & Fils Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos wine is an exquisite product of French viticulture. Originating from Burgundy’s famed Chablis region, it boasts a stunning marriage of subtly fruity tones with richly mineral nuances. This Grand Cru white wine delivers a wonderfully complex bouquet, capturing hints of ripe apple, lemon and oyster shell. On the palate, it's impeccably balanced, bathing the senses in layers of nuanced flavours, and culminating into a finish marked by commanding mineral persistence. It’s an exceptional choice for those seeking elegance and class from their wine experience.

About the Winery

Founded in 1850, Domaine Louis Michel et Fils is one of the historic family estates of Chablis in northern Burgundy. Now led by the sixth generation, Guillaume Michel, the domaine remains entirely family owned and is renowned for producing some of the region's purest expressions of Chardonnay. The estate cultivates around 25 hectares of vineyards on the celebrated Kimmeridgian limestone soils surrounding Chablis, including holdings in prestigious Grand Cru vineyards such as Les Clos, Grenouilles and Vaudésir, as well as several highly regarded Premier Cru sites including Montée de Tonnerre, Butteaux, Forêts and Montmain.
