Product Notes

Bodega Aleanna Gran Enemigo Blend is a captivating wine of Argentine origin, emerging from the gifted hands of winemaker Alejandro Vigil. An intriguing blend predominantly housing Cabernet Franc alongside Malbec, its luxurious personality reveals layers of red fruit nuances, punctuated by whispers of bell pepper and spice. Subtle oak-derived undertones from extensive barrel ageing lend a delicately sweet note to the mix. Its exceptional balance, concentrated palate, and finely grained tannins culminate in a resoundingly long finish. This elegantly complex, full-bodied wine brings a taste of Argentine passion to your dining table.

About the Winery

El Enemigo

El Enemigo was founded in 2010 by Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicolás Catena Zapata, along with Alejandro Vigil, the award-winning head winemaker of Bodega Catena Zapata. The El Enemigo vineyards are located in the Piedemonte al Sur region of Mendoza, south of Luján de Cuyo, at high altitudes between 930 and 1,470 metres. El Enemigo was born from a desire to carve their own path and a shared obsession with terroir.
