Tasting Note

Deep plum coloured with a youthful purple rim. Fresh and aromatic with deep cherry fruit and some spice notes. Medium bodied with poise, freshness and elegance and ripe juicy tannins.

Morisfarms Morellino di Scansano DOCG is an impressive vino hailing from the sun-bathed Tuscan hills. This notable Italian red wine emanates an enchanting bouquet of ripe dark fruit notes, embellished with delicate hints of spice and vanilla. Made predominantly from Sangiovese grapes, alongside Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, it offers a delectable fusion of robust flavours, sharp acidity and well-rounded tannins. Ideal when paired with savoury meats or Tuscan pecorino. The wine is a luscious celebration of its terroir, presenting a hint of Tuscan warmth in every sip, making it a must-have in any wine connoisseur’s collection.

About the Winery

MorisFarms is one of the pioneering estates of Tuscany’s coastal Maremma region, with roots dating back more than 200 years. The Moris family, originally from Spain, settled in southern Tuscany in the 19th century and gradually developed a large agricultural estate around Massa Marittima and Scansano. The modern winery took shape in the late 1970s when Adolfo Parentini married Caterina Moris and transformed the family business from bulk wine production into a quality-focused estate.
