Tasting Note

The 1769 `Rouge` displays lifted aromas of raspberries, red currants and blackberries, complimented by hints of chocolate and dried herbs. On the palate, the juicy and crunchy wild berries and garrigue characters are supported by well-rounded tannins.

Product Notes

Clos Venturi 1769 Rouge is a veritable masterpiece encapsulating Corsican terroir. This exceptional red wine unfolds layers of red fruit, spice, and herby undertones. Made from indigenous Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu and Syrah grapes, the 1769 Rouge exhibits pronounced minerality, hinting at its higher-altitude vineyard origin. Striking a harmonious balance between tantalising acidity and velvety tannins, it undergoes a meticulous vinification process that includes hand harvesting and traditional ageing. Its lavish, dark hued body abounds with rich, full-flavoured essence. Pair it with hearty meats or savour its complexity solo; Clos Venturi 1769 Rouge is an exquisite addition to any wine connoisseur's collection.
