Tasting Note

A light amber colour with intense citrus, dates, honey, apricot jam, dried figs and raisin on the nose. Sweet, elegant and well-balanced with notes of orange peel, apricots, dried figs and honey with impressive acidity and persistence.

Product Notes

Rallo Passito di Pantelleria is a decadently sweet, Italian dessert wine hailing from sunny Sicily. Produced from hand-harvested Muscat of Alexandria grapes, it is revered for its intoxicating fusion of apricot, honey, and almond notes. Deeply golden in hue, this wine exudes an intense yet perfectly balanced sweetness. The production process involves sun-drying the grapes to heighten sugars and aromas. With a luscious, velvety texture and a long, rewarding finish, Rallo Passito di Pantelleria pairs beautifully with rich desserts or robust cheeses, elegantly harmonising and elevating the dining experience. A truly indulgent treat for discerning wine enthusiasts.

About the Winery

Founded in 1860, Rallo is one of Sicily’s historic family-owned wine estates, with roots deeply connected to the island’s long viticultural tradition. Established by the Rallo family in the western part of Sicily, the winery has remained under family ownership for more than five generations and today is managed by siblings José and Antonio Vesco, descendants of the founding family. The estate is headquartered near Marsala in western Sicily, an area historically associated with fortified wine production but now increasingly recognised for high-quality modern Sicilian wines.
