Product Notes

Tokara Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is an exquisite elixir from the renowned Stellenbosch wine region in South Africa. It exudes a sophisticated blend of deep, rich blackcurrant and plum undertones, topped with a delicate layer of spiced oak. The flavour unfolds harmoniously on the palate, unveiling a delicate tannin structure, savoury undertones, and finishing with a lasting, decadent cacao note. This wine is a testament to skilled winemaking, presenting a perfect balance between fruit richness and elegance. Ideal for sipping on relaxed evenings or pairing with robust red meat dishes, it's a must-have for any wine connoisseur.

Tasting Notes

This wine displays a deep maroon colour with a vibrant edge. The nose leads with classic graphite notes, briary fruits interwoven with aromas of five spice and the faintest hint of dried porcini. There is a freshness underscoring these aromas with hints of dark cherry, red currant and fynbos scrub - a classic expression of Simonsberg Cabernet. The palate is pleasantly full bodied with flavours mirroring aromas all leading to a multitextured finish
