Product Notes

Zenato Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG Classico is a delectable Italian wine, highly regarded for its luxuriously dense and velvety texture. This harmonious, ruby-red nectar is made from partially dried Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, which are meticulously aged, fostering a sumptuous, fruity sweetness. It contains rich, complex notes of ripe cherries, chocolate, and prunes, complemented by subtle nuances of oriental spices. A brilliant choice for special occasions, it pairs perfectly with matured cheeses, desserts, and chocolate. Densely flavoured, it lingers enticingly on the palate. This wine exemplifies Zenato's excellence in crafting superior Valpolicella wines.

Tasting Notes

Elegant, spicy, hints of black cherry, dried figs and prunes. Smooth and velvety tannins with balanced sweetness. This dessert wine lights up the glass with its vibrant nuanced colors. It’s marvelous when served with chocolate fondue but it also pairs well with any oven-fired dessert, like Verona-style pandoro, classic panettone, or even crunchy cookies.
