Tasting Note

An Italian-style white blend of Greco, Falanghina, and Fiano from three districts of California, inspired by Campania. It is super crisp, acidic, and mouth-puckering, with intense lemon, lime, grapefruit, and green apple flavours accented by minerals and white pepper. Light-bodied, it is made for food pairing. - James Suckling

Product Notes

The Massican Gemina is an exquisite Italian wine that offers a luscious balance of distinctiveness and sophistication. This divine blend of Greco and Pinot Grigio is renowned for its aromatic allure, presenting an exquisite melange of citrus, white peach, and floral notes. Its zesty vivacity is touched by honeyed richness on the palate, perfectly showcasing the harmony between these varietals. Beautifully structured, it possesses a refined acidity that makes it incredibly refreshing. Reminiscent of the Mediterranean sun and sea, each occasion of opening a bottle of Massican Gemina is a moment of celebration.

About the Winery

Massican

Massican is a small but influential Napa Valley winery created in 2009 by winemaker Dan Petroski. Petroski, who once worked in publishing, was inspired by a harvest stint in Sicily that sparked his love of Italy’s crisp, aromatic white wines. Determined to bring that same energy to California, he launched Massican as a project dedicated to fresh, elegant whites in a region better known for bold reds.
