Tasting Note

Generous, intense Chablis from the appellation's smallest Grand Cru vineyard, precise and mouthwatering with ripe citrus, balanced by peaches and a touch of cream.

Product Notes

Domaine Louis Michel & Fils Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles is an exceptional French white wine from the acclaimed Burgundy region. It's fashioned with meticulous precision from Chardonnay grapes. The wine exudes a fascinating bouquet of ripe fruits and citrus nuances, attuned with an alluring mineral undertone. Perfectly balanced, the palate reveals an impressive depth and complexity, interlaced with an elegant acidity and enduring finish. This is an ideal pairing for fine seafood or goat cheese. This wine truly embodies the mineral-rich terroir of Grand Cru Grenouilles, reflecting the remarkable skill of its vintners.

About the Winery

Founded in 1850, Domaine Louis Michel et Fils is one of the historic family estates of Chablis in northern Burgundy. Now led by the sixth generation, Guillaume Michel, the domaine remains entirely family owned and is renowned for producing some of the region's purest expressions of Chardonnay. The estate cultivates around 25 hectares of vineyards on the celebrated Kimmeridgian limestone soils surrounding Chablis, including holdings in prestigious Grand Cru vineyards such as Les Clos, Grenouilles and Vaudésir, as well as several highly regarded Premier Cru sites including Montée de Tonnerre, Butteaux, Forêts and Montmain.
