A magnificent mature Oloroso with 15–20 years of ageing, offering intense aromas of walnut, toasted almond, caramel, dried fig and orange peel. Rich, dry and full-bodied, with remarkable concentration balanced by fresh acidity and saline minerality. Exceptionally long and complex, finishing with layers of nut, spice and dried fruit.

Product Notes

Emilio Hidalgo Villapanés Oloroso Seco is a lucid embodiment of Spanish legacy, originating from Jerez. It's a dry and robust Oloroso sherry, crafted with precision over decades. A mellow amber hue hints at the rich, traditional ageing process. The bouquet opens with a complex symphony of roasted nuts, dark chocolate and tantalising spice undertones. On the palate, it demonstrates an exquisite blend of dried fruit, woody notes and a refined bitter aftertaste. With a well-structured body and lasting finish, this Oloroso sherry is a marvelously spirited partner to complement an array of cuisine from mature cheeses to hearty stews.
