Tasting Note

Bright deep ruby, the nose is full of red summer fruits with a hiunt of baked earth. Fruity and refreshing on the palate, with light, well balanced tannins.

Product Notes

Morisfarms Mandriolo Rosso displays the richness of Tuscan flavours. A well-crafted blend with predominant Sangiovese character, it unveils layers of ripe red fruits, mingled with woody, earthy tones. Pleasing in its texture, the wine holds a balance of firm tannins and vibrant acidity. It has an inviting ruby colour that enhances its appeal. Ageing in French oak barrels imparts delicate smoky notes to its robust profile. Certainly, Morisfarms Mandriolo Rosso is an ideal choice for lovers of full-bodied, yet nuanced wines, suitable for pairing with bold and hearty dishes.

About the Winery

MorisFarms is one of the pioneering estates of Tuscany’s coastal Maremma region, with roots dating back more than 200 years. The Moris family, originally from Spain, settled in southern Tuscany in the 19th century and gradually developed a large agricultural estate around Massa Marittima and Scansano. The modern winery took shape in the late 1970s when Adolfo Parentini married Caterina Moris and transformed the family business from bulk wine production into a quality-focused estate.
