Tasting Note

This is a classic mature English Blanc de Blancs with balance and elegance from start to finish. Blended predominantly from Chardonnay grapes with a careful addition of Pinot Blanc this is a crisp, refined and refreshing sparkling wine with aromas of English apples, pear and peach complemented by tertiary characters of almond and brioche. As it ages, it is developing a beautiful smooth creaminess and richness. Its fresh, lighter character would pair it well with seafood dishes such as oysters, crab salad, prawns, lightly smoked salmon or roasted chicken, risottos & sushi.

Product Notes

The Albourne Estate Blanc de Blancs wine is a divine English sparkling wine produced in Sussex. It's made exclusively from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes, resulting in a refined and elegant flavour profile. This wine oozes notes of green apple, citrus fruit alongside subtle toasted brioche, creating a delightful taste sensation. Its invigorating tartness and effervescence are balanced by a delicate creaminess, making it a crisp, refreshing libation. The finish is long, offering a sophisticated palate experience. It pairs beautifully with seafood or as an introduction to a meal, making the Albourne Estate Blanc de Blancs a gem within the English wine industry.
