Tasting Note

A vibrant and youthful style of Chardonnay with minimal oak influence this wine is fresh and light with a pleasing texture on the palate and distinctive minerality. With notable aromas of green apple and lemon zest on the nose, this is a classic example of a winemaking style with a ‘light oak touch’ in a cool-climate Chardonnay. Delicious for food pairing and will age well. We suggest grilled fish, risottos and creamy pasta dishes.

Product Notes

Albourne Estate Sandstone Ridge Chardonnay is a classic British wine crafted in the heart of Sussex. It offers a delicate blend of finesse and complexity, with vibrant notes of citrus fruits, green apple and creamy vanilla. Enhanced through oak fermentation, it bears the distinct kiss of the chalky, sandstone-rich soil, providing an elegant minerality. This Chardonnay is beautifully balanced with a lingering finish that speaks volumes of its exceptional quality. It's an embodiment of English sophistication and British winemaking excellence, making it a perfect complement to roasted poultry dishes or simply to be enjoyed on its own.
