Tasting Note

The wine appears straw yellow with bright green reflections. The nose is delicate but intense, rich and generous, with mild fruity notes of orange blossom and ripe apple. The palate is dry, mineral, and harmoniously balanced with a pleasant acidity and an aromatic persistence with hints of anise and almond. Serving temperature: 10 – 12°C

Product Notes

Benanti Contrada Rinazzo Etna Bianco Superiore is a compelling Sicilian white wine, flaunting vibrant acidity and enticing minerality. This elegant and refined wine is produced from the unique Carricante grape, grown in the remarkable terroir of Mount Etna. It is carefully crafted through traditional winemaking techniques, lending it intricate layers of white flowers, saline notes and ripe fruits. The richness of the tropical fruit flavours melds seamlessly with a compelling smoky finish. A true masterpiece that paints the picture of its volcanic origin, it's the perfect accompaniment for seafood dishes or sophisticated poultry recipes. Enjoy the purity of Etna through every sip.

About the Winery

Benanti

Benanti is one of the pioneering wineries of Mount Etna and has played a defining role in the revival of Sicily's fine wine industry. Although the Benanti family's roots in Sicily date back to 1734, the modern winery was established in 1988 by Giuseppe Benanti, whose vision was to demonstrate the exceptional potential of Etna's indigenous grape varieties and volcanic terroir. Today, the family-owned estate is managed by Giuseppe's sons, Antonio and Salvino Benanti, who continue to build on their father's legacy.
