Tasting Note

A quality Marsala wine made in the traditional way. This Marsala Fine is dry in style and has all the characteristics of a good, traditional Marsala with notes of toasted almonds, citrus and rich caramel.

Product Notes

Curatolo Arini Marsala Fine Secco is a deeply captivating Sicilian wine demonstrating superior craftsmanship. This distinguished offering presents a rich, amber-hued profile with characteristic, complex notes of almond and dried fig. Matured in Slavonian oak casks, its dry taste is balanced exquisitely with an opulent body, offering intriguing hints of caramel, toasted hazelnuts, and citrus undertones. The finish is lengthy and warm, making this Marsala Fine Secco a splendid accompaniment to robust cheeses and sophisticated, hearty dishes. Evoking both tradition and innovation, it is a nod to quality Marsala production, and a testament to Italy's esteemed winemaking heritage.

About the Winery

Curatolo Arini

Curatolo Arini, founded in 1875 by Vito Curatolo Arini, is run by the family’s fifth generation, making it the oldest family-owned Marsala producer still in existence. Alberto Antonini is the consultant winemaker here. His influence is evident in the wines, combining the richness that Sicily can easily provide with the freshness only someone with Alberto’s experience can retain.
