Tasting Note

Intense gold with shades of amber, the Marsala Riserva Superiore is richer, more concentrated and elegant than the Fine. It has intense notes of toasted almond, cloves and cinnamon on the nose, with a full, velvety body. Complex dried fruit flavours carry through onto the long, smooth, and slightly spicy finish.

Product Notes

Curatolo Arini Marsala Superiore Riserva is a distinguished Italian wine, noted for its impeccable quality since 1875. Hailing from Sicily, the radiant amber nectar exudes an opulent medley of dried fruit, honey, vanilla, and spice. The wine encapsulates the richness of its heritage in every sip, with its exquisite balance of sweetness and robust intensity. On the palate, it delivers a complex tapestry of flavours, making it the perfect accompaniment to robust cheeses or a sublime standalone dessert wine. This Riserva wine concludes passionately, leaving a lingering taste of Mediterranean warmth and elegance. A bottle truly signifies unparalleled craftsmanship.

About the Winery

Curatolo Arini

Curatolo Arini, founded in 1875 by Vito Curatolo Arini, is run by the family’s fifth generation, making it the oldest family-owned Marsala producer still in existence. Alberto Antonini is the consultant winemaker here. His influence is evident in the wines, combining the richness that Sicily can easily provide with the freshness only someone with Alberto’s experience can retain.
