Tasting Note

Burgundian fizz, full of exotic fruit, balanced by a fresh wash of citrus; on the nose, the perfume of white flowers and a warm scent of fresh-baked pastries.

Product Notes

Veuve Ambal Crémant de Bourgogne Cuvée Tradition Brut is a refined and engaging French wine representing the grandeur of Bourgogne. It exhibits an attractive golden hue with a bouquet of fresh white flowers, ripe pears and a subtle hint of toasted brioche. On the palate, this delightful sparkling wine boasts an elegant minerality with balanced acidity, beautifully complementing the undertones of citrus and apple. The persistent, crisp finish completes the opulent experience. This nuanced and vibrant Brut adds a dose of sophistication to any occasion, perfect for celebrating milestones or simply enjoying an evening of relaxation.

About the Winery

The association of widows or ‘veuves’ and sparkling wine extends beyond Champagne, south into Burgundy where Veuve Ambal, the leading producer of Crémant de Bourgogne, is located. Its story began in 1898, when Marie Ambal, following the death of her Parisian banker husband, returned to her home village of Rully in Côte Chalonnaise to pursue her family’s involvement in wine.
